ACCOMMODATION

Hotel rooms

Hotel Pod Zvičinou offers accommodation in 29 simply equipped 1-5 bed rooms.

Villa

The main building with a restaurant is connected through a colonnade to an another building called “villa”. Here are a few newly renovated barrier-free rooms of higher quality.

Bungalows / chalets

The complex includes two two-storey chalets with fully equipped suites with kitchen and fittings. The total capacity of each chalet is 11 persons (+ possibility of adding baby cots).

Camping and cabins next to the wood

In our camp there are 12 simple wooden cabins – each for 4 people (2 bunk beds). In addition, there is also space for your own tents.

RESTAURANT AND CONFERENCE ROOMS

Restaurant and lounges

The restaurant itself has a capacity of approximately 80 seats. The restaurant also has two lounges – a larger lounge (24 seats) suitable for organizing family celebrations or corporate trainings and a small lounge with a library ideal for quiet relaxation.

Conference hall ( “Colonnade”)

The conference hall with a capacity of up to 150 seats (theater arrangement) serves mainly for organizing trainings, corporate teambuilding events, weddings and other social events.

FUN FOR KIDS

Game elements and playgrounds

Diverse game elements (chute, sandbox, climbing frames, …) are placed throughout the hotel area. Other sports facilities in the include: a tennis court, a ping pong table, a grassy playing field (for volleyball or badminton) and garden chess and checkers on the hotel terrace.

Indoor playground

In case of bad weather, there is an indoor playground full of climbing frames, slides, tunnels and jumpers located in the “villa”.

Minifarm

Our animals (sheeps, goats, geese, ponies, donkeys) are waiting for you in the paddocks around the hotel.

Hiking

Podkrkonoší je ráj pro turisty, protkané hustou sítí turisticky značených tras. Pěší výlety můžete kombinovat s vlakovou či autobusovou dopravou (zastávka vzdálena cca 1,7 km). Lázně pod Zvičinou jsou křižovatkou hned několika turistických tras, z nichž nejznámější vede na nejvyšší vrch Podkrkonoší – Zvičinu, odkud uvidíte hřebeny Krkonoš jako na dlani.

Cycling

Podkrkonoší is an ideal location for cycling with beautiful views of the surroundings.It only depends on you whether you choose a mountain or trekking bike, you will always find a number of interesting bike paths. If you prefer flat terrain, there is the Elbe cycle path for you. We will be happy to lend you bicycles from us.

Canoeing

We rent canoes and organize trips on the Elbe (Labe river). So you try canoeing, for example, between Dvůr Králové nad Labem and Kuks (witch can be combined with a visit to the baroque hospital Kuks) or on the fairytale dam Les Království.

SUMMER OUTDOOR AKTIVITIES

Climbing

Do you want to experience a little adventure? Especially for larger groups (schools, companies, …) we offer climbing on the wall or sandstone rocks with our instructor (adapted to the experience and ability of climbers).

Scuba/free diving

About 20 km from the hotel, in the Rumchalpa diving center, you can try recreational scuba diving or freediving. Accompanied by an experienced instructor, you will get to know the underwater world and enjoy the new experience with a dose of adrenaline.

Golf

The nearest golf courses: Queen’s Park Golf Club Myštěves, Grund Resort Golf&Ski Mladé Buky.

WINTER ACTIVITIES

If the snow conditions in winter allow, it is possible to use the ski slope directly at the hotel (suitable for children and beginners), in Bílá Třemešná (1 km away) or go to the nearby Giant (Krkonoše) Mountains. For the cross-country skiers there are nice tracks around Zvičina. We will be happy to lend you winter equipment (skis, cross-country skis, snowboards, snowshoes) in our rental shop. We can also arrange a dog sled ride.

EVENTS

We organize various events throughout the year. You will always find information about them from our website or Facebook. Each event has its own theme, which is related to the region (culinary specialties, regional products), the history of out hotel („Spa under Zvičina“) or is based on the season or other interesting topic (e.g. why the Dutch are moving to Bohemia ????). Our main goal is to follow on from the former fame of the climatic “Spa under Zvičina” or “Spa at the Mary´s Spring” – as a place for trips and a center of cultural events and relaxation in the Krkonoše foothills.
